Researchers Measure Dark Matter From the Farthest Reaches of the Universe as Seen 12 Billion Years Ago

Researchers looked at the makeup of the dark matter that surrounds galaxies as they appeared 12 billion years ago, to observe dark matter from the farthest reaches of the universe. Distant galaxies are observed as they existed billions of years in the past, due to the finite speed of light.
