Google, Meta's Request to Use Undersea Data Cable to Asia Get US Government Backing

Joe Biden’s administration has asked the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to give Alphabet's Google and Facebook parent Meta the permission to use an undersea cable system to handle growing Internet traffic with Asia.
