Facebook Rides Advertising Surge to Post Over $10-Billion Profit as CEO Mark Zuckerberg Exalts the 'Metaverse'

Facebook reported that its second-quarter profits doubled thanks to a massive increase in advertising revenue. However, concerns about a revenue growth slowdown pushed its shares lower in after-hours trading Wednesday.

AT&T and WarnerMedia just announced the pricing of their HBO Max streaming service, along with sharing more details about the timing and content lineup.
