People Adapt to Extra Robotic Thumb in Days in Fascinating Body Augmentation Study

A new research has shown that the human brain can adapt to body augmentation much faster than expected. The study conducted by University College London (UCL) and the University of Oxford researchers attached an artificial robotic thumb to the hands of the participants who were able to perform functions with it in a matter of days.
